Sailor is introducing a new BESPOKE Pen. The Limited Edition Bespoke CHINKIN OWL Fountain Pen. The theme is an Owl which in Japan symbolizes good luck and prosperity. The design is accomplished using Chinkin process. A technique accomplished by chisel etching the design pattern onto the surface and later inlaid with gold leaves and powder. A meticulous process perfected only by experience craftsmen. It is KOP size made of Ebonite with a limited edition production of only 28 pcs worldwide.

Owls have long been associated with Magic and Wizardry in Western mythology and they are a symbol of wisdom that many in the West are familiar with, but owls have a very special meaning in Japan; Pronounced Fukuro in Japanese, Own is a symbol of luck and good fortune in Japan.

Meticulously crafted by Chinkin artist Etsuko Tsuruta this special masterpiece is presented by Sailor as a unique Limited edition of only 28 pieces worldwide.
